The staff of the Risk Management Department monitors the correspondence received from all Federal and State agencies relating to changes in the unemployment and worker’s compensation tax rates. By carefully monitoring these rate changes and inputting them into the payroll system, Republic Parking System ensures clients that they pay the lowest possible tax rates on all payroll expenses.
Republic Parking System provides comprehensive general liability, automobile liability, garage keepers legal liability, property, workers compensation, theft and crime insurance coverage. Republic Parking System uses the insurance brokerage services of Killebrew, Lyman & Woodworth, who, in turn, competitively bids Republic Parking System’s insurance program on an annual basis. The Human Resource Department continually develops and distributes to the field on-going programs to assist in the hiring, training and motivating of staff at all levels. From management training programs, to cashier procedures, to dress and grooming policies, to customer service courses, Republic Parking System’s Human Resource Department strives to produce the training materials that will allow for the provision of the highest levels of customer service and employee retention.
The department regularly reviews the Company’s policies and procedures, criminal and credit pre-employment background check procedures, wage and hour changes and Employee Handbook.
Republic recently went "on-line" for to deliver it's training programs to the field. Employees log in to the Republic Parking System employee intranet, review the material and take the tests before gaining their job proficiency certifications.

A full service Accounting Department is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee and serves as the collection point for information gathered from the field. Each city is assigned a staff accountant to assist in the review, audit and preparation of monthly financial reports. Additionally, the staff accountants assist the field staff by performing bank reconciliation’s, random audit verifications, payment of invoices, processing of bimonthly payroll and maintenance of the location’s general ledger and monthly billing trial balances.
The Accounting Department staff has compiled Republic Parking System’s comprehensive reporting procedures into a condensed “Bookkeeping Guide”. |

| The Audit Division, reporting directly to the Chairman, is responsible for performing random field audits at Republic Parking System’s operating locations. These unannounced audits are conducted over a three to five day period and review, in-depth, the compliance with Corporate accounting policies.
The internal audit department reviews the operational procedures, bookkeeping and reporting to determine if Company policies and contractual obligations are being followed. The audits are conducted using a specific audit plan with the objective to determine compliance with prescribed procedures and to make recommendations to executive management where improvements can be made.
